What is the dosage and how should it be used?

Fenoprofen comes as a capsule and a tablet, to be taken orally.

It should be administered with a full glass of water three or four times a day for arthritis or every 4-6 hours as needed for pain. This medicine can be also be taken with meals or milk to reduce stomach upset.

Do not crush, chew, break, or open fenoprofen capsules. Swallow them whole.

Take fenoprofen exactly as directed by your doctor. If you do not understand the instructions on your prescription bottle, ask your pharmacist, nurse, or doctor to explain them to you.

If you are taking fenoprofen to relieve the symptoms of arthritis, your symptoms may begin to improve within a few days. It may take 2–3 weeks or longer for you to feel the full benefit of this medicine.
